Data will be new wealth; Artificial Intelligence will govern world: Naidu
Naidu announced plans to establish specialty hospitals with 300 beds in every constituency

VIJAYAWADA: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has said Artificial Intelligence (AI) will govern the world and data will be the new wealth in the future.
Naidu announced plans to establish specialty hospitals with 300 beds in every constituency and affirmed his government's commitment to making government services more easily accessible to the poor. He was participating in the inauguration of a corporate hospital (KIMS Sikhara) in Guntur.
The Chief Minister said an exercise was on to not only improve the lifestyle of the people but also extend free medicare to the poor.
Targeting the previous government, he said, “All the systems, particularly the health sector, totally collapsed during the last five years. Those who did not supply even a drop of water to the All India Institute of Medicine (AIIMS) at Mangalagiri are now criticising our government. They could not digest the developmental activities being undertaken by this government," Naidu said in an oblique reference to the YSRC.
Naidu added, “We are moving ahead, setting a target of achieving 15 per cent growth rate with our Swarnandhra Vision-2047.”
Recalling that he inaugurated KIMS Hospital in Nellore in 2000, the chief minister said, “The way the founder of the hospital group, Bollineni Bhaskar Rao, has flourished is certainly an inspiration for all. KIMS services are available in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Maharashtra and Kerala.”
Praising the Hindupur MLA, N Balakrishna, for effectively maintaining the Basavatarakam Cancer Hospital, the CM felt “data too will play a crucial role in the coming days.”
Predicting that data is going to rule the world in the coming days, Naidu said he was confident that Indians would work wonders in all sectors. Noting that AP has become a partner in Ayushman Bharat, he said better medicare would be provided to the people by supply of health cards.
"We are now finding out what kind of diseases are spreading in the state and how to prevent them. Organic farming is being encouraged as part of this exercise and we will take AP to the number one position in this field," he observed.
He said, “Following a call given by Prime Minister, Modi, the state would be transformed as a Green Energy hub. Solar panels are going to be set up on every house while steps are being taken to maintain cleanliness in urban areas.”
“Everyone should make use of Artificial Intelligence as it is going to be in a commanding position in the world,” he said.
Announcing that the Public-Private-People's-Partnership (P-4) endeavour for uplift of the poor would be launched on Ugadi day, Naidu said, “With 10 per cent of the people forming the upper layer of the society, or the rich, encouraging the society’s bottom 20 per cent, the poor, successful results can be achieved. We will create wealth and distribute it to the poor," he said.
