Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan Wins Hearts During Tribal District Tour Despite Rain

Visakhapatnam: Rain couldn't dampen the spirits of deputy chief minister Pawan Kalyan during his two-day tour of the tribal regions of Andhra Pradesh. The visit was marked by a blend of official engagements and heartfelt interactions with local communities.

On Saturday, despite continuous rain and blocked roads, the deputy chief minister visited the ASR district to lay the foundation for several road development projects aimed at enhancing infrastructure in these underserved areas. A planned public meeting at Gummanthi village had to be relocated to Ballagoruvu village due to accessibility issues. Authorities ensured proper arrangements by laying a BT road at the new venue.

During his visit, the Deputy CM engaged in everyday activities, purchasing local products, including turmeric, tamarind, and eco-friendly handmade plates and glasses from tribal vendors. A highlight of his visit was his spontaneous interaction with local children, where he personally fed them sweets and posed for photographs with women and their babies.

The deputy chief minister's personable approach was also evident during his earlier visit to the Manyam district, where he joined tribal residents in dancing in the rain. In a lighter moment, he playfully requested his enthusiastic supporters, who were chanting "OG" and "anna," to let him focus on his official duties.
