Donations pour into rain relief fund

NCC, Pemmasani Foundation donate ₹1 crore for CMRF

NCC Limited donated ₹1 crore each to the governments of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana towards flood relief efforts following the recent floods in both the states. The contribution is intended to assist in the recovery and rebuilding of areas affected by the floods.

On behalf of the Pemmasani Foundation, rural development minister Dr. Pemmasani Chandrasekhar, apart from Pemmasani Ravishankar, handed over a cheque of ₹1 crore to Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu. The cheque will be deposited in the CM Relief Fund and utilised to extend help to flood-hit victims.

Machilipatnam MP Vallabhaneni Balashowry urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to make an appeal to all LS and RS members to contribute ₹50 lakh from their MPLADS fund towards the rehabilitation and restoration works in the flood affected in Krishna and Guntur districts.
