DSC Notification to Fill 16K Teachers Posts Soon: Sandhya Rani

Visakhapatnam:Women and Tribal welfare minister Gummadi Sandhya Rani on Sunday said three free gas cylinders will be provided to impoverished families from Diwali onwards, as was promised in the Telugu Desam's election manifesto. The announcement was made during Sandhya Rani's participation in the "Idi Manchi Prabhutvam" (good government) programme held at the Salur municipal office.

In her address, the local MLA highlighted that the alliance government had successfully completed 100 days in power despite financial challenges.

"This is the people's government," she stated, underscoring the importance of celebrating this 100-days milestone with the community. She mentioned that social security pensions were enhanced with pending amounts being distributed.

As part of these efforts, the minister announced an increase in pension amounts distributed in May which included arrears, totalling to `7,000 for every beneficiary. "This is not just a government of words but one of action," she .

Addressing unemployment, she revealed plans to fill 16,437 positions through a Mega DSC. A free coaching centre has been established where 1,300 young individuals are currently receiving training along with complimentary materials and meals.

Additionally, she noted the establishment of Anna Canteens aimed at feeding thousands of underprivileged individuals.

She asserted that her government is focused on progressive initiatives for Gram Panchayats, which were overlooked previously.
