Durgesh woos Telugu people to invest in AP
Kakinada: Tourism minister Kandula Durgesh called upon Telugu people who are settled in Maharashtra and other states in the country to invest in Andhra Pradesh as the government led by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu would encourage entrepreneurs and industrialists.
The federation of Telugu association in Maharashtra organized ``Telugu Maha Sabha’’ at Thane on Sunday. Participating in the meeting as chief guest, Durgesh said Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan are making efforts to develop Telugu language. He praised Telugu people in Maharashtra, saying they are making several programmes to unite Telugu people in other states.
He appreciated the association leaders P. V. Ramana and Ganji Jagan Babu for organising the programme. Telugu poet Jonnavithula Ramalingeswara Rao and others were present.
