E. Santharam takes charge as Waltair ADRM

Visakhapatnam: E. Santharam has officially assumed charge of additional divisional railway manager (infrastructure) for the Waltair Division of East Coast Railway on Saturday.

Santharam is a 2004 batch officer of the Indian Railway Service of Engineers (IRSE). He holds a degree in civil engineering from JNT University, Hyderabad, and an MBA from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam. His experience encompasses various aspects of railway infrastructure, including project management and operations. Throughout his career, Santharam has contributed to numerous key track maintenance and construction projects across multiple divisions. His previous roles span significant positions in the South Eastern Railway, East Coast Railway, and South Central Railway.

Notably, he served as the deputy chief vigilance officer (engineering) at Secunderabad and as senior divisional engineer (coordination) at the Vijayawada Division of South Central Railway, where he made impactful contributions over the last four years. In addition to his domestic experience, he has worked internationally on railway projects in Malaysia through RITES (Rail India Technical and Economic Services).
