Kurnool: Veteran Tollywood actor Talwar Suman emphasised the importance of education for personal growth, stating that a solid educational foundation makes it easier to achieve great heights. He addressed students as the chief guest at the Yuva Tarang-2024 Inter-College Sports Competition prize distribution ceremony held on Saturday at Cluster University.
Speaking on the occasion, Suman highlighted how the Bhagavad Gita offers solace and solutions during difficult times and encouraged students to embrace its teachings. Reflecting on his personal journey, he shared the struggles he faced, noting that perseverance helped him act in over 800 films across various languages. He urged students to value their parents and teachers, describing them as pivotal in shaping their lives. He called on the youth, regarded as the wealth of India, to contribute to the nation’s progress.
Vice chancellor Dr Katta Venkateswarlu urged students to seize opportunities and aim for excellence. He announced milestones for the university, including achieving 12-B recognition, NAAC accreditation, and NIRF ranking, with the first convocation scheduled for February 8, 2025. Municipal commissioner S. Ravindra Babu and others also attended the event.
