Eluru District Collector Urges Flood Victims to Verify Enumeration Lists
Kakinada: Eluru district collector K. Vetri Selvi has announced that the enumeration lists for flood and heavy rain-affected areas in the district are now available for public viewing. The lists can be found at the Collector’s Office, RDO, tahsildars, and village secretariats.
Flood victims are encouraged to carefully examine these lists and submit any objections or claims by Monday. The collector instructed officials to promptly upload any objections and claims to the relevant app.
Selvi emphasised the state government’s commitment to ensuring that no flood-affected individual is left out of the compensation process. She urged victims to double-check any discrepancies in their bank account numbers and to report them to officials.
The collector directed officials to re-verify the enumeration lists to ensure accurate and timely assistance to victims. She also announced that the government will distribute compensation to flood victims on September 25 and urged victims to file their objections before that date.
In addition, Selvi instructed officials to submit action plan reports for the Swarnadhra@2047 initiative at the mandal level. Posters with QR codes should be displayed in village and ward secretariats.
Eluru RDO Kajavali echoed the collector’s appeal, stating that the enumeration lists have been made available at all revenue offices, including village and ward secretariats. He urged victims to verify their names and submit any objections to officials to ensure they receive the necessary compensation.
