Enhance Salaries of Outsourcing Employees: APJAC- Amaravati
Vijayawada: APJAC-Amaravati chairman Bopparaju Venkateswarlu and contract and outsourcing employees association president K. Suman have urged the government to address salary disparities for outsourcing employees in state departments.
At a meeting in Vijayawada, Venkateswarlu demanded structured HR policies and annual increments for outsourcing staff, similar to those benefiting MEPMA and SERP employees. He criticised the government for approving only a 23 per cent salary hike under the 11th PRC, instead of the recommended 30 per cent, resulting in significant financial losses since January 2022.
The leaders appealed for immediate salary enhancements to prevent further workforce dissatisfaction. Women’s wing chairperson P. Lakshmi and other officials also participated in the meeting, highlighting the need for fair pay and recognition.
