Family alleges illegal detention and torture of former AP Beverages MD

Hyderabad: The family of Vasudeva Reddy, former Managing Director of the Andhra Pradesh Beverages Corporation Limited, has alleged that he is being illegally detained and tortured by CID officers.

According to family members, Reddy has been held captive for the past three days in a Hyderabad suburb by a team of CID officers, including Ghattamaneni Srinivas.
They claim that Reddy is being pressured to reveal information about key figures from the previous government and is being subjected to physical and mental abuse.
The family has expressed grave concern over Reddy's well-being and has announced their intention to approach the High Court and the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) to seek legal redress.
