Vijayawada: The owner of Abhiruchi fast food centre on Eluru Road in Gudivada was allegedly attacked by three inebriated men on Saturday night.
The incident occurred within the limits of Gudivada I Town police station. Circle inspector K. Indra Srinivas Rao of Gudivada I Town said three men visited Abhiruchi's late at night and reportedly became belligerent after consuming food, accusing the owner of serving them stale items.
The inebriated men then physically assaulted the owner, injuring his toe and requiring three stitches. Police have registered a case and are searching for the absconding attackers. The investigation is ongoing.
