VISHAKHAPATNAM: The Vizianagaram district police extended their support to the families of deceased officers in a heartfelt event held on Tuesday at the district police office. During the ceremony, SP Jindal presented financial assistance to the families of constables and home guards who have passed away due to accidents, sudden illnesses, or health complications while serving in the police force. He highlighted the significance of community support, noting, "The police department’s staff have voluntarily contributed to help these families. Losing a loved one is a profound hardship, and it’s commendable that we have this program to assist them during such difficult times."
As part of the support, a one-day allowance amounting to Rs. 3,25,890 was given to the wife of the late home guard Chinnodu. Additionally, a fund of Rs. 1,00,000 was provided to the family of constable P. Gauri Kumar, who passed away due to health issues.
