Game Changer event attendees killed in ADB Road crash, Pawan announces ex gratia
Kakinada: Two young men, Arav Mani Kanth and Tokada Charan, residents of Gaigolupadu in Kakinada district, tragically lost their lives in a road accident on the ADB road between Kakinada and Rajahmundry on Saturday night. The accident occurred when their motorcycle was struck by a speeding vehicle while they were returning home.
Expressing deep sorrow, AP Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families.
The ADB road, a crucial artery connecting Kakinada and Rajahmundry, has been in a state of disrepair for the past five years due to neglect by the previous government. The lack of proper maintenance and inadequate street lighting has significantly increased the risk of accidents on this vital route, posted Kalyan on X.
While the current government has initiated repair work on the road, this tragic incident highlights the urgency of addressing the safety concerns of road users. The victims, who were returning from the pre-release event of Game Changer movie, were repeatedly advised to exercise caution during their journey.
On behalf of the Jana Sena, Kalyan announced that financial assistance of Rs. 5 lakh each will be provided to the bereaved families. Furthermore, the deputy CM pledged to further help the families.
