Giri Pradakshina held in Srisailam temple

Kurnool: Srisailam Devasthanam hosted a grand Giri Pradakshina on Wednesday to celebrate the full moon day of the Bhadrapada month. The Utsava Murthy of Mallikarjuna Swamy and Bhramaramba Ammavaru were adorned with flowers and special silk attire, and placed on a Dharma Prachara Ratham for the ceremonial Mangala Harathi. Following this offering, the palanquin was paraded around the temple as part of the Giri Pradakshina observance for Bhadrapada Pournami. Temple Executive Officer D. Peddiraju, along with the priests, led the Pradakshina procession. The palanquin completed the ritual by returning to the main temple via Nandi Mandapam.
