Gov. CM Condole Death of Veteran Actor Krishnaveni

The Chief Minister prayed to god to give peace to her soul and conveyed his profound grief to the bereaved family members. He actor lived a complete life of 102 years.

Vijayawada: Governor S. Abdul Nazeer, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Dy CM Pawan Kalyan, former chief minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and others condoled the death of veteran film producer and actor Krishnaveni here on Sunday.

In his message, Governor Nazeer expressed grief on the passing of Krishnaveni, a recipient of Raghupathi Venkaiah award for her immense contributions to Telugu film industry.

Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan prayed to god to give peace to her soul. Former CM Jagan Mohan Reddy said Krishnaveni’s demise is a great loss to the film industry and described her as a multifaceted personality as she acted in the films of several languages.

Minister for housing Kolusu Parthasarathi also conveyed his deep condolence. Expressing grief over the death of the actor, minister for mines Kollu Ravindra said she entered the film industry as a child artiste and won applause from the viewers by acting in Telugu, Tamil and Kannada films.

Minister for tourism and culture Kandula Durgesh described her death as an irreparable loss to the film industry.
