Rajini filed a petition seeking anticipatory bail and the High Court heard the petition this morning

In a major relief to former minister and YSRC leader Vidadala Rajini, the High Court directed the police not to take serious action in connection with the SC, ST Atrocity case filed against her. The case was adjourned to February 30 for next hearing.
Rajini filed a petition seeking anticipatory bail and the High Court heard the petition this morning.
The complaint was filed by Chilakaluripet TDP social media in-charge Pilli Koti, in which he alleged that the then Town CI Suryanarayana tortured him. He alleged that the police showed the harassment to MLA Rajini on video call.
Basing on the complaint, the police filed an SC, ST Atrocity case against Vidadala Rajini, her PAs Phaneendra and Ramakrishna. Subsequently, Rajini and her PAs filed a petition in the High Court, seeking dismissal of the petition.
The HC directed the police to file a counter to the former minister's petition. On February 24, this petition will be heard in the HC again.
