HC Reserves Verdict in Ex-MLA Pinnelli’s Anticipatory Bail Case

Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh High Court on Thursday reserved its verdict after completing its hearing on the petitions filed by former MLA Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy seeking a grant of anticipatory bail. A single-judge bench headed by Justice T. Mallikarjuna Rao, while reserving judgment, announced that the anticipatory bail granted to the former MLA earlier will be extended until the day of the verdict. Police had booked the former MLA in three cases, including one dealing with the destruction of EVMs on the day of polling. It also booked him for two cases of attempt to murder.
