After days of dry weather, the sudden rain was greeted with delight by residents, who took to social media to share videos and photos of the much-awaited respite. The showers brought a noticeable drop in temperature, adding to the enjoyment.
However, the joy was accompanied by a touch of chaos as several areas faced waterlogging. The city’s streets shimmered with puddles, creating challenges for commuters while providing moments for children to play in the rain.
Despite the inconveniences, the rainfall offered a welcome relief from the heat and monotony of recent days.
Also many low-lying areas have experience power cuts due to the sudden downpour.
