HM Anitha lays foundation for water tank in Payakaraopeta

Visakhapatnam:Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha has laid the foundation for a new water tank in Payakaraopeta town that would cost `95 lakh. This was part of a comprehensive effort to address the infrastructure requirements and enhance the living conditions in the region.

The minister stated, "We are establishing a water tap connection for every household and would ensure the availability of drinking water to all during the summer months." She cited the existing drainage challenges in Payakaraopeta town and promised remedial steps.

She announced the allocation of `1 crore to address the drainage problem and outlined plans to establish a model police station within the Payakaraopeta constituency.

Anitha emphasised the state government's commitment in improving regional infrastructure.

She attended an event at the Anganwadi Centre in Sitarama Raju Nagar, where she interacted with the children.

The home minister surveyed potential locations for the model police station in Payakaraopeta and Nakkapalli. She identified a site adjacent to the existing Payakaraopeta police station as suitable.
