Hurt Over MLA's Remarks, Sarpanch’s Wife Tries to Die by Suicide

Vijayawada:Kavitha, the wife of Chittela Sarpanch Srinivas and a Village Revenue Officer (VRO), tries to die by suicide early on Wednesday, allegedly upset over harsh remarks made by Tiruvuru MLA Kolikapudi Srinivas Rao against her husband.
Srinivas was reportedly insulted by MLA Srinivas Rao inside the Tiruvuru police station after he was caught playing cards. Deeply hurt by the comments made against her husband, Kavitha attempted to end her life.
Family members quickly acted and shifted Kavitha to a hospital in Vijayawada, where she is receiving treatment
