Vijayawada: An IIT Madras team inspected the Real Time Governance centre at Secretariat in Velagapudi on Friday, lauding it for ease of governance and innovative thinking.
Chief Minister’s Secretary P.S. Pradyumna and RTG CEO K. Dinesh Kumar told the IIT team that all departments of the government are connected to the RTG centre. They added that all specifications and innovations were carried out as per the wishes of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.
Requests from the public to the government are monitored in real-time through this platform, they said.
In line with the government's objectives, the RTG centre utilises artificial intelligence and other cutting-edge technologies to oversee the implementation of government schemes.
The Chief Minister's vision is to leverage advanced technological facilities to provide better services to the public.
Director of IIT Madras Prof. V. Kamakoti emphasised the innovative nature of establishing a real-time governance system within a government framework and expressed IIT Madras' readiness to collaborate with Andhra Pradesh RTG for further development.
