Dr. Peramsetty, originally from Tirupati district in Andhra Pradesh, was a well-respected figure in the healthcare community and operated several hospitals across the United States. He was the founder and medical director of the Crimson Care Network, a group of local medical professionals in Tuscaloosa.
Dr. Peramsetty was known for his significant contributions to the medical field, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic. His efforts were recognized with several awards, and a street in Tuscaloosa was named in his honor due to his impact on the local healthcare system.
Dr. Peramsetty, a graduate of Sri Venkateswara Medical College in 1986, had over 38 years of experience in the medical field, specializing in Emergency Medicine and Family Medicine. He was also affiliated with the Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa.
He is survived by his wife, two sons, and two daughters, all of whom reside in the United States. Dr. Peramsetty had a strong connection to his roots in India, where he donated ₹14 lakh to Menakuru High School, his alma mater, and funded the construction of a Sai temple in his village.
