Intel AI Bootcamp Concludes At Vignan’s University

VIJAYAWADA: A three-day ‘AI for Future Workforce – 2026’ bootcamp organised under the Intel Digital Readiness initiative at Vignan’s University concluded on Saturday, providing students with practical exposure to Artificial Intelligence technologies and industry-oriented skills.
Addressing the participants, Vignan’s University vice-chancellor Prof. K.V. Krishna Kishore said the programme was designed to help students identify real-world challenges and develop AI-driven solutions. He said the bootcamp focused on enhancing employability and preparing students for future workforce requirements.
A total of 80 B.Tech and M.Tech Computer Science and Engineering students from 23 teams were selected for the programme after submitting AI-based projects to Intel.
The training covered design thinking, problem analysis, AI prototyping, product development, architecture design, project planning and presentation skills. Experts from Intel Digital Readiness mentored students on emerging technologies, AI solution development, project refinement and innovation.
The first day focused on problem identification and ideation, while the second day featured AI tool selection, prototype development and mid-term demonstrations. The final day included project presentations, demonstrations, pitch sessions and evaluations by an expert jury.
Prof. Krishna Kishore said the initiative enabled students to develop working prototypes and professional project pitches while strengthening industry-academia collaboration and promoting innovation-driven learning.
