Kakinada: Cine actor and Jana Sena leader K. Nagababu cautioned the counting agents to be alert during counting time to curb any mischievous practices adopted by the ruling party.
He convened a meeting with the counting agents in Pithapuram on Sunday. He said that counting agents were playing a vital role, and the party’s agents should pay attention to the counting process. He said that there was national attention on the Pithapuram constituency, and all the surveys made it clear that the alliance candidates would win. He said that due to faults in counting at Bhimavaram, the Jana Sena incurred great loss, and such mistakes should not be repeated this time.
He said that counting agents should follow the code of counting process, and if doubts arise, they should immediately approach the returning officer and lodge a complaint with him. Jana Sena national spokesperson Vemulapati Ajay Kumar, party leaders Marreddy Srinivas, Yatham Nagesh, Panchakacharla Sandeep, and others were present.
