Jana Sena MLC Hari Prasad Adopts Pithapuram
Kakinada: Jana Sena MLC P. Hari Prasad on Thursday said he has adopted Pithapuram and would develop it.
After assuming charge as MLC, Hari Prasad visited Pithapuram for the first time on Thursday, along with Jana Sena leader K. Nagababu, brother of Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan.
He said MLCs have the option of adopting a city or village and developing it. As an MLC, Hari Prasad said, he has chosen to develop Pithapuram.
Kapu Nadu chief adviser D.N. Ramesh and others felicitated Hari Prasad for assuming the MLC post.
Hari Prasad and Nagababu also participated in a pension distribution programme at Chitrada village in Pithapuram constituency.
In the interim, tourism minister Kandula Durgesh distributed pensions at Purushottapalli village in Nidadavole mandal. He informed people that Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has made all arrangements to distribute pensions of ₹4,000 each to pensioners on the first day of every month.
Housing minister K. Pardhasaradhi distributed pensions at Katrenipadu village of Musunuru mandal. Participating in a programme in his Nuzvid constituency, he said infrastructure will be developed at the Nuzvid mango market at a cost of ₹18 crore. He assured that the Chintalapudi Lift Irrigation Scheme will be completed within two or three years.
