Jana Sena Party Meeting Turns Tense in Tirupati
Party workers alleged that local leaders and cadre were being ignored and complained about a lack of coordination within the organisation.

Nellore:A Jana Sena review meeting on local body elections in Tirupati on Saturday witnessed heated scenes as party workers openly expressed dissatisfaction with district leadership in the presence of former minister Balineni Srinivasa Reddy.
The meeting, attended by leaders and cadre from the combined Chittoor and Kadapa districts, turned tense after several activists demanded the removal of Chittoor district Jana Sena president Pasupuleti Hariprasad.
Party workers alleged that local leaders and cadre were being ignored and complained about a lack of coordination within the organisation.
Heated arguments and pushing incidents were reported during the meeting as agitated workers voiced their grievances before senior leaders.
Amid the charged atmosphere, Balineni Srinivasa Reddy made a series of candid remarks about his political journey from the YSR Congress Party to Jana Sena.
Recalling his electoral career in Ongole, Balineni said he had contested seven elections and won five times, claiming he lost twice because of the impact created by Jana Sena chief K. Pawan Kalyan.
“I even told this directly to Pawan Kalyan,” he remarked.
Balineni said he faced difficulties in the YSRC after questioning the leadership and alleged that he lost his ministerial position after raising issues with party chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.
He also claimed that he spent nearly Rs. 22 crore during a by-election and suffered both politically and financially.
Explaining his decision to join Jana Sena, Balineni said he wanted to be part of a party that encourages questioning and accountability.
He added that he had informed Pawan Kalyan that he was not interested in any party post and only wished to work sincerely for strengthening the party.
Praising the Jana Sena chief, Balineni described Pawan Kalyan as a “good-hearted leader” facing certain political constraints.
He asserted that despite criticism from YSRC leaders, he would continue to stand by Pawan Kalyan.
In a lighter moment, Balineni said he would even produce a film with Pawan Kalyan if given an opportunity.
He further stated that Jana Sena would contest strongly in local bodies where the party has organisational strength and said Pawan Kalyan was making serious efforts to strengthen the party across the state.
