Visakhapatnam: The Visakhapatnam unit of Jana Sena is planning to organise a blood donation camp and a plantation drive in the city on September 1 to mark the birthday of Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan.
Speaking to media persons, Jana Sena MLA Vamsi Krishna Srinivas announced that the blood donation camp will be held at the party office from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Vamsi stated that activists from 98 wards of the Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) have voluntarily registered to donate blood. In addition to the blood donation camp, he announced a plantation drive in which 5,000 saplings will be planted in the constituency, with support from the forest department and local port authorities.
