JNTUA Signs MoU With Reutlingen University For Integrated Global Programme

ANANTAPUR: Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Anantapur (JNTUA) has entered into a memorandum of understanding with Reutlingen University to offer a five-year international integrated bachelor’s and master’s programme in Professional Software Engineering and Digital Engineering & Management in a 3+1+1 format, with an intake of 30 to 60 students.
Daniel Geigis, CEO of Knowledge Foundation Reutlingen University, witnessed the programme virtually. Raj Vangapandu and Syam Sundar from Reutlingen University attended the meeting held at the JNTUA campus on Friday.
The meeting was chaired by Prof. Sudarsana Rao, Vice-Chancellor, JNTUA, who said the collaboration would benefit students through global exposure and academic integration.
The Vice-Chancellor said that under the leadership of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, the state is moving towards globalising university education and emerging as a hub for advanced technologies such as quantum technologies. He urged officials to fast-track the framework of this strategic and multidimensional partnership. The MoU was presented by DAP Prof. S.V. Satyanarayana.
Speaking on the occasion, Geigis expressed confidence that the collaboration would gain momentum, with modalities to be finalised through a steering committee as outlined in the MoU.
Registrar Krishnaiah, Prof. A. Suresh Babu, Director (Admissions & Foreign Affairs), and Prof. Bhanumurthy participated in the programme.
