Kadapa MP’s PA appears before cyber crime police
Anantapur: Kadapa MP Y.S. Avinash Reddy's personal assistant (PA), Raghava Reddy, appeared before the cybercrime police at the CCS police station in Kadapa on Monday. This follows notices issued by the Pulivendula police in connection with pending cases related to controversial social media posts.
The Pulivendula police had earlier registered a case against Raghava Reddy after YSRC social media co-convener Varra Ravindra Reddy confessed to his involvement. Ravindra Reddy admitted to posting abusive content under the instructions of Raghava Reddy, who is also linked to the late Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy.
Last month, the police issued notices and conducted searches for Raghava Reddy after he absconded. The High Court later granted him a stay against any serious police action until December 12. In response to the notices, Raghava Reddy, accompanied by advocate Obula Reddy, appeared at the CCS police station. He was interrogated by a police team led by Pulivendula DSP Murali Naik. Investigations are ongoing, and further action will depend on the findings of the inquiry.
