Kakinada: Tourism minister Kandula Durgesh stated that financial assistance of Rs 3,000 had been provided to each of the 394 flood-affected families in Nidadavole rural mandal on Monday. The minister also handed over a cheque for Rs 5 lakh to the family members of B. Prasad from Unakaramilli village, Devarapalli mandal, who died in a recent road accident at Chinnayagudem.
Additionally, he participated in the ‘Seemantham’ programme, organised by the women and child welfare department in D. Muppavaram village. Durgesh highlighted that the NDA government has accomplished several initiatives in 100 days that were unattainable by the previous government.
