Kannababu Vows to Strengthen YSRC in North Andhra

On the new government, he said people have lost faith in the alliance, as it has not kept the promises it made during the elections.

Visakhapatnam: Former minister Kurasala Kannababu on Sunday expressed his determination to strengthen the YSRC party in north Andhra.

Kannababu, who has recently been appointed as the regional coordinator of YSRCP for north coastal Andhra districts, arrived in Visakhapatnam on his maiden visit after assuming the new post on Sunday. He thanked party president and former chief minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy for giving him the responsibility of strengthening the party in the state’s northern region.

The former minister said he is impressed with the party workers in north Andhra, who are continuing to be active even after losing power. He assured YSRC workers that he will be supporting them in their fighting against the NDA-alliance government, which has been foisting false cases against the opposition party activists.

Kannababu underlined that north Andhra region has been the crucible for many revolutions. He maintained that YSRC will stage a comeback and do justice to the people.

On the new government, he said people have lost faith in the alliance, as it has not kept the promises it made during the elections.

“Jagan Mohan Reddy tried to make Visakhapatnam the administrative capital for development of Uttarandhra. Y.S. Jagan is the one who does what he says,” the new YSRC north Andhra in-charge declared.

Earlier, party workers felicitated Kannababu for assuming the new post.
