Vijayawada: Telugu Desam MP Kesineni Sivanath, also known as Chinni, has been unanimously elected as the president of the Andhra Cricket Association (ACA) for the term until 2025. All office bearers were elected without opposition. The official announcement of the elected members will be made on September 8.
Alongside president Kesineni, Sana Satish was chosen as secretary, Venkata Prashant as vice-president, D. Srinivas as treasurer, and BJP Visakhapatnam North MLA P Vishnu Kumar Raju as joint secretary.
Following the change in government in Andhra Pradesh, previous office bearers resigned. The ACA accepted these resignations and appointed Former State Election Commissioner Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar as the election officer. Six nomination papers were received, all of which were valid.
