Vijayawada: The coalition government has been accelerating the construction of the capital since it came to power. In this context, a significant decision has been made regarding the construction of the Outer Ring Road (ORR), which will provide a major boost to Amaravati. The government has appointed officers for land acquisition in the five districts where the ORR will pass through. The ring road will stretch over 189.9 kilometers, covering 23 mandals and 121 villages.
The government has appointed five joint collectors as land acquisition officers in the five districts. The Amaravati ORR will pass through 23 mandals and 121 villages in NTR, Krishna, Palnadu, Guntur, and Eluru districts. Its total length will be 189.9 kilometers. Additionally, two link roads will be constructed connecting the existing Kolkata-Chennai National Highway to the south and east of the ORR.
