Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam
Tirupati: The traditional Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam ritual will be conducted at Sri Padmavathi Ammavari temple in Tiruchanoor on November 26, marking the preparatory phase for the annual Brahmotsavams, which are set to begin on November 28.
The temple and its sub-shrines will undergo a thorough cleansing process using a fragrant mixture called ‘Parimalam’. The ritual, scheduled from 6 am to 9 am, represents the purification of the temple premises, including the sanctum sanctorum, in anticipation of the significant religious festivities. This traditional practice not only purifies the temple but also enhances its spiritual atmosphere with a refreshing fragrance.
The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) is making extensive arrangements for the Brahmotsavam celebrations, which will run from November 28 to December 7. All ‘Arjitha Sevas’ at the temple will be suspended during this period. On November 27, the Laksha Kumkumarchana will take place from 8 am to 12 pm as a prelude to the main events.

The Mutyapu Pandiri and Simha Vahanams are scheduled for November 30, and Kalpavriksha and Hanumanta Vahanam will be paraded on December 1 during the same time slots.
Pallaki and Gaja Vahanams are set for December 2, while December 3 will see Sarva Bhoopala and Garuda Vahanams in the morning and evening, along with a Golden Chariot procession from 4:20 pm to 5:20 pm.
On December 4, Surya Prabha and Chandra Prabha Vahana sevas will be held in the morning and evening. December 5 will feature the Rathotsavam in the morning and Aswa Vahanam in the evening. The Brahmotsava Vahana Seva will conclude on December 6 with Pallaki Utsavam in the morning. Panchami Theertham will be observed between 12:15 pm and 12:20 pm, followed by the evening Pushpayagam on December 7.
