Krishnaiah's actions would brand him as a traitor in history: Karumuri Nageswarao

Nageswara Rao said Jagan Mohan Reddy had appointed Krishnaiah to the Rajya Sabha with a good intention of benefiting the Backward Classes (BCs) and allocated a significant number of Rajya Sabha seats to the BCs to provide them with substantial representation

Visakhapatnam: Former YSRC minister Karumuri Nageswara Rao has criticised R. Krishnaiah for betraying Jagan Mohan Reddy and aligning with N. Chandrababu Naidu. He said Krishnaiah’s actions would brand him as a traitor in the history and the public would not forgive him.

Nageswara Rao said Jagan Mohan Reddy had appointed Krishnaiah to the Rajya Sabha with a good intention of benefiting the Backward Classes (BCs) and allocated a significant number of Rajya Sabha seats to the BCs to provide them with substantial representation.

Nageswara Rao alleged that Naidu was engaged in buying and selling of Rajya Sabha seats. He portrayed Naidu as a broker and accused him of ill-treating the BCs.

Nageswara Rao said Naidu was envious of Jagan Mohan Reddy getting overwhelming public support.

He accused the alliance government of spreading misleading information against Jagan Mohan Reddy in connection with the Tirupati laddu issue. He criticised Naidu for attempting to undermine the reputation of the TTD and divert attention from other matters.

Nageswara Rao said Naidu was afraid of a probe by the central agency and demanded a CBI investigation into the laddu issue.
