Kurnool: A BJP leader named Shekanna (50) was murdered in Peddaharivaanam, Adoni mandal, Kurnool district, on Monday. Miscreants slit Shekanna's throat while he was sleeping outside his house. According to locals, the leader had no known conflicts with anyone in the village, and they see no reason for his killing. Shekanna had recently joined the BJP after leaving the YSRCP. Upon receiving the information, police arrived at the scene and the investigation is underway.
