Kurnool: District SP G. Bindu Madhav announced that Kurnool district police disposed of 7,913 cases in the National Mega Lok Adalat, ranking first in the state out of 17,138 cases resolved across Andhra Pradesh. He highlighted that cases eligible for Lok Adalat resolution were identified in advance at various police stations, with effective coordination between the complainants and involved parties. The initiative saved valuable court time and helped resolve minor disputes through mutual compromises. SP Madhav encouraged officers and personnel to continue this collaborative approach in the future.

Additionally, Director General of Police Dwaraka Tirumala Rao presented the ABCD Award to Kurnool district police during a ceremony in Vijayawada. The award recognised the police's skillful investigation into the murder of a young man on July 28, 2024, in Chinna Hothuru village, Aspari mandal, Kurnool district. The Andhra Pradesh Police Department presents the ABCD Award quarterly to honour exceptional crime investigations across the state.
