Lokesh Invites Jagan to Come Out and See the Government’s Good Works
Vijayawada: Minister Nara Lokesh invited Pulivendula MLA and YSRC president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy to come out on the roads and witness the good work being done by the government. Speaking to reporters in Vijayawada on Saturday, Lokesh remarked, "There is no harm in Jagan coming out among the people to understand their problems. We have built good roads, and he can travel on them without fear. We have much more to do, and we are committed to doing everything."
Lokesh highlighted that the government was systematically fulfilling all election promises and implementing schemes not even guaranteed during the campaigns, such as the mid-day meal scheme for inter-students. He also confirmed that the Thalliki Vandanam Scheme would be implemented in the state from the next academic year.
"We are not an anti-people government like the previous one," Lokesh said. "We are addressing public issues through Praja Darbar. The state is burdened with debt due to the previous government's mistakes, but we are providing 4,000 pensions and have reopened canteens closed by the previous government. We are also implementing the free gas scheme."
Lokesh added that efforts are underway to improve the NIRF rankings of Andhra Pradesh's universities and place them among the top 100 globally.
