Lokesh predicts alliance win in MLC polls

With the Shivaratri festival falling a day before the elections, Nara Lokesh instructed in-charge ministers and legislators to ensure that all voters are encouraged to exercise their franchise

Vijayawada: Minister for education Nara Lokesh, during a meeting on the upcoming Graduate MLC elections in the Godavari and Krishna-Guntur districts, emphasised the need for alliance candidates to secure a decisive victory through first-preference votes.

The meeting, held at Undavalli, included discussions with senior party leaders on election strategies. Lokesh acknowledged the limited time for campaigning and urged the use of technology to reach every voter. With the Shivaratri festival falling a day before the elections, he instructed in-charge ministers and legislators to ensure that all voters are encouraged to exercise their franchise.

Additionally, he announced the establishment of a war room at the party's central office to monitor election-day proceedings in real time. He called on alliance leaders to work together to secure a grand victory for the party's candidates.

The meeting was attended by several key leaders, including state TD party president Palla Srinivasa Rao, MLCs Bhumireddy Rambhupal Reddy, Kancherla Sreekanth, Vepada Chiranjeevi, and zonal coordinators Sujayakrishna Ranga Rao, M.V. Satyanarayana Raju, Damacharla Sathya, Mandalapu Ravi, among others.
