Visakhapatnam: A fire broke out on Sunday in a three-story hardware store in Ravikamatam mandal, Anakapalli District. The incident occurred in Ravikamatam village, where the building housed iron goods on the ground floor, plastic goods on the second and third floors, and welding operations on the first floor. The fire, believed to have been ignited by the welding activities, quickly spread through the building, causing massive damage to the property.
Local residents were alarmed when they noticed one person trapped inside the burning structure. Acting swiftly, they managed to rescue the individual safely from the rear of the building. As the fire raged, heavy plastic pipes and other materials were consumed, and the flames spread to the second floor. The situation intensified until another fire brigade from arrived to assist in containing the blaze.
