Minister expresses dissatisfaction over lack of sanitation in school inspection
Visakhapatnam: Social welfare minister Dr Dola Sri Bala Veeranjaneyaswamy reaffirmed the NDA coalition government's commitment to student welfare during a surprise inspection at Dr B. R. Ambedkar Gurukul School in Sri Krishnapuram.
The minister reviewed the school's kitchen, toilets, and surroundings, expressing dissatisfaction with the poor sanitation. He directed immediate action against the negligent principal.
During his visit, Veeranjaneyaswamy interacted with students, inquiring about their challenges and emphasising the importance of education, health, and hygiene. He encouraged students to strive for excellence and assured them of the government’s continued support in their educational endeavours. The minister warned that staff failing in their duties towards students would face strict action.
