Vijayawada:With a view to promoting rural development through foreign investment, MSME Minister Kondapalli Srinivas held a meeting in New York on Wednesday with representatives of various organisations and NRAs.
He urged international partners to note AP’s good environment for sustainable development.
Srinivas is currently on a US tour to attract investments to the state. He is interacting with investors, entrepreneurs, NRAs and prominent Telugus there.
The gathering included prominent figures such as Kara Barnett of the General Atlantic Foundation, Kevin Stur, CEO of the Mulago Foundation and Lord John Brown, chairman of Beyond Net Zero.
The discussions were on commercial and investment opportunities in the farm sector, and tackling the climate change challenges in AP. "By embracing modern technology and innovative practices, we are transforming our state into a paradise for investments," the minister claimed at the meeting.
Srinivas stated later, “As Andhra Pradesh gears up to maximize its agricultural potential and secure a sustainable future, the discussions in New York mark a pivotal moment in forging alliances with global organisations.”
