KURNOOL: Industries, Commerce, and Food Processing minister T.G. Bharath Gupta hosted a special lunch for top-performing Class 10 students from government schools in the Kurnool constituency in recognition of their academic excellence.
The minister personally invited the toppers over the phone and welcomed them into his residence, where he shared a meal with them. He felicitated the students and presented cash incentives, encouraging them to continue their success during higher studies.
Speaking on the occasion, Bharath pointed out that significant reforms have been introduced in the education sector under Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, with a strong push from minister Nara Lokesh. He underlined that government schools are being strengthened to compete with private and corporate educational institutions. Government school students have reciprocated by performing well in their exams.
Students who attended the lunch included Pikkili Likhitha (593), Pinjari Girish (591), Meesala Meghana (587), Kuruva Mallikarjuna (581) (all from Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Memorial Municipal Corporation High School), and Gajula Rohith (582) from C-Camp Municipal High School.
Students expressed happiness over their memorable experience.
