Minister Kakani Goverdhan Reddy’s mafia is behind rave party in Bangalore, alleges TDP leader

Nellore: Senior TDP leader and former Minister Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy on Tuesday alleged that the mafia of Andhra Pradesh Agriculture Minister Kakani Goverdhan Reddy was behind in organizing a rave party in Bangalore.

Addressing a press conference, he sought to know how the Bangalore police could find only the car sticker in the name of the Minister when hundreds of people were attending the party. The TDP leader demanded that the enforcement agencies take stern action against the Minister, who allegedly colluded with anti-social elements.

The rave party organized GR farmhouse at Hebbagodi was busted by the Electronic City police in the early hours of Monday and named over 100 to 150 unknown persons as accused in the case. The sleuths of City Crime Branch (CCB) raided the party hosted in the name of "Vasu's Birthday" and subtitled "Sunset to Sunrise" and seized cocaine, 'ecstacy' and MDMA pills and other narcotic substances.

The party was organized with the knowledge of the Minister only, Chandramohan Reddy said, alleging that the Minister’s mafia extended necessary help for organizing the party. He appealed to the NDA government to take stern action against the anti-social elements.

He said he would submit relevant evidence pertaining to the Minister’s activities to the government for taking action against him.
