VSP manager suffers serious burn injuries after molten steel falls on him

Visakhapatnam: A senior official of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant sustained serious burn injuries on Tuesday when molten steel from a moving steel transfer car fell on him in the ladle preparation bay of steel melting shop-1 at the plant, here on Tuesday.
The injured official was identified as Ch. Malleswara Rao, senior manager (operations) in the steel melting shop.
He sustained burn injuries mostly on both his legs and was immediately shifted to Visakha Steel General Hospital and from there was shifted to a corporate hospital for further treatment.
