MP Raises Security Lapses of Jagan
Midhun Reddy highlighted the multiple security lapses, including incidents at Jagan Mohan Reddy’s residence and during his recent visit to the Guntur Mirchi Market Yard.

Vijayawada: YSR Congress leader in Lok Sabha P. V. Midhun Reddy wrote to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah citing concerns over inadequate security provided to former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
In his letter, Midhun Reddy highlighted the multiple security lapses, including incidents at Jagan Mohan Reddy’s residence and during his recent visit to the Guntur Mirchi Market Yard.
Midhun Reddy accused the state government of neglecting security arrangements and suggested that these lapses could be part of a larger conspiracy by the coalition government to restrict the former Chief Minister’s movements. The MP pointed out that despite Jagan Mohan Reddy having Z+ category security, there have been repeated failures to ensure his protection.
He stated that the reduction in the number of security personnel and the deteriorating condition of bulletproof vehicles pose a serious threat to his safety. The incident in Guntur where there was a lack of security despite prior intimation to officials, has raised concerns among the public.
The MP further stated that such targeted actions by the state government created panic among people and set a dangerous precedent. He urged the Prime Minister and home minister to intervene immediately and instruct the central home department to enhance security arrangements for Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.
