Naidu Clears Rs.6,700 Cr Pending Bills for Students, Employees Before Sankranti

Vijayawada: The state government has cleared the Rs 6,700 crore worth pending bills of the students, employees, police personnel and contractors by Monday evening.

As per the directions from Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, minister of finance Payyavula Keshav held a review meeting with the officials concerned on Sunday despite being it a holiday and instructed the officials to clear the pending bills by Monday evening.

Accordingly, the officials worked out the details and started to clear the bills from Monday morning. The finance minister even sought for hourly updates on clearing the pending bills.
