Modi, Naidu Pay Rich Tributes To NTR On His 103rd Birth Anniversary
NTR remains eternally enshrined in the hearts of Telugu people: Naidu

Vijayawada: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy CM K. Pawan Kalyan and others paid rich tributes to TD founder and former chief minister N.T. Rama Rao on his 103rd birth anniversary on Thursday.
Prime Minister Modi stated, “Tributes to the great NTR on his birth anniversary. He is fondly remembered for his commitment towards public welfare and governance which ensured dignity for the poor and the marginalised. His contributions to cinema continue to captivate generations.”
“His life and ideals remain a source of immense inspiration. The NDA government in Andhra Pradesh, under the leadership of my friend Chandrababu Naidu, is committed to advancing the aspirations he cherished for the people,” the PM said.
Telugu Desam national president and Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said, “Today, on the occasion of the 103rd birth anniversary of the object of worship for Telugu people, the great Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, I offer my profound tributes. Born on May 28, 1923, in Nimmakuru of Krishna district, he remains eternally enshrined in the hearts of the Telugu people. In the cinematic firmament, he left indelible marks as Rama and as Krishna. In the political area, he shined as a pole star. He was the modern social reformer who brought massive changes to the lives of Telugus. I offer my heartfelt homage to that epochal figure.”
Telugu Desam national working president N. Lokesh said, “To the world-renowned actor-emperor who brought fame to the Telugu race across the globe, I pay my respects by remembering the services of that great soul. He hoisted the flag of the TD along with the self-respect of the Telugu people. He stood as a support for the downtrodden sections by planning the yellow flag. He paved the way for women empowerment.”
Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan said the services rendered by N.T. Rama Rao as chief minister of undivided Andhra Pradesh were unforgettable. He praised NTR for introducing the supply of rice for `2 a kilo to the poor and noted that with the same spirit, the NDA government was running Anna Canteens to provide food to the poor at low price.
