Naidu Promotes Swami Vivekananda's Ideals on National Youth Day
Vijayawada: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has called upon the youth to play a pivotal role in rebuilding the state and in eliminating poverty.
The chief minister greeted the youth to mark the National Youth Day, recalling the great ideals of Swami Vivekananda on Sunday.
In a statement, Naidu exhorted the youth not to misuse the technology in the form of social media, internet and artificial intelligence and use these for their development.
The day is observed in remembrance of spiritual leader Swami Vivekananda, whose birth anniversary was observed by the nation on Sunday.
Naidu said his government was making efforts to generate 20 lakh jobs in the next five years and coming up with several programmes to help every house to have an entrepreneur.
Agriculture minister K Atchannaidu said the TD-led state government was trying to provide a better future to the crores of youngsters in AP. Transport minister Ramprasad Reddy urged the youths to be a source of inspiration for others and live a life as per the dreams of Swami Vivekananda.
Housing minister Partha Saradhi called upon the youth to build a modern India by following the guidelines laid down by the Swami Vivekananda. Health minister Satya Kumar Yadav called Swami Vivekananda a source of inspiration to the youth.
