Naidu to Campaign in Tamil Nadu Over 2 Days

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will tour Coimbatore, Hosur, Chennai, Madurai and Sattur as part of the NDA’s outreach drive in Tamil Nadu.

VIJAYAWADA,: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu would launch a high-intensity two-day election campaign in Tamil Nadu from April 20, aiming to boost support for the National Democratic Alliance candidates and strengthen the alliance’s presence in the state.

Naidu, who heads the Telugu Desam party, would arrive in Coimbatore on Monday, marking the beginning of his campaign covering multiple key regions.
On the first day, the CM would address a public meeting in Coimbatore and then proceed to Hosur and Thallyto address election meetings. In Thally, a border region, Telugu-speaking voters form a considerable voter segment.
In the evening, Naidu will reach Chennai and take part in a roadshow in Avadi. Elaborate arrangements have been made for the event by local NDA and TD cadres, including placement of banners and welcome arches in major locations.
On April 21, the CM would campaign in southern Tamil Nadu, visiting Madurai and Sattur. He would engage with community leaders and participate in other campaign events.
Sources here said Naidu would reach out to regions with a significant Telugu-speaking population, urging them to back the NDA. Naidu, they said, would highlight the NDA’s vision for economic growth and inclusive progress during his interactions.
Political observers believe that Naidu’s campaign could provide fresh momentum to the NDA in Tamil Nadu, particularly in urban centres like Chennai and in border districts with their cultural and linguistic linkages to Andhra Pradesh.
